On a morning show earlier this week the host reported someone had just named their new born son, Hashtag. I believe they spelled it out, didn't put the "#" symbol on his birth certificate. Which makes me think of when Prince temporarily changed his name to a symbol.
If we did start naming babies with symbols, there would be a gluttony of children name "$" (dollar sign). Wouldn't it be awful if someone had twins and named them < and >
